A Cleo Baldon bar height bench for Terra, USA, c.1960s. The bench features a wrought iron x-base. It is grounded by rounded dowels with the same design element mirrored at the seat cushion. A rectangular block bar runs the length of the bench providing a foot rest. The bench has been newly reupholstered in an olive green linen with a tufted cushion.
Cleo Baldon is mostly known as a landscape architect specializing in pools all over Southern California. She has been credited with the development of the residential lap pool, which she claimed to have introduced to California in the 1970s.
