Hand Built Brutalist Japanese Ceramic Sculpture by Takao Tomono

Ceramic sculpture by Japanese American artist, Takao Tomono. The sculpture features a woven vase like shape with incised geometric detailing. Tomono was born in 1935 and created many of his pieces through the 1960's.
Note this piece can not hold water.
