Set of Eight Maurizio Tempestini "Ribbon" Patio Chairs for Salterini

Dining Chairs by Maurizio Tempestini for John Salterini, USA, c.1950s. This set consists of two arm chairs and six side chairs with a ribbon detail along the back rest of each. This set has been fully restored and newly powder coated with newly woven paper cord seats.

Tempestini was a successful interior architect and furniture and lighting designer. His collaboration with Salterini is known for bringing back the demand in wrought-iron outdoor furniture in the 1950s reviving design styles for the emerging market.

arm chair: 25.25” width x 22.25” depth x 32.75” height; 17.5" seat height, 25.5" arm height.

side chair: 25.25” width x 22.25” depth x 32.75” height; 17.5" seat height.

Excellent restored condition; professionally powder-coated in a black satin finish with newly woven paper cord seats.
