Designed in the 1970s, this brass floor lamp by Cedric Hartman is an enduring design classic. The modernist floor lamp features a triangular brass shade attached to a curved brass stem that offer focused task lighting. The arched pole terminates into a heavy brass t-base. Discreet legs allow the lamp to “hover” just above the floor, exaggerating the counterweighted arc of the central support. The light has a dimmable brass on/off switch at the bottom of the shade. Underside of the lamp is signed with its serial number.
13” width x 11” depth x 35.5” height
Good vintage condition; brass has developed a dark natural patina and has not been polished in accordance with the wishes of the designer. Minimal cosmetic wear, appropriate to age and use. Newly rewired.
